Seed Porridge

I created this cleanse friendly grain free coconut/seed based porridge recipe for my clients in the Delish Diet Deep Cleanse.

It is totally rocking my world - I am eating it almost every day for breakfast without getting bored of it!

In a world of sugar laden processed food breakfast cereals that hook us with their ease and convenience, we all need a healthy alternative that is just as quick and easy.

This recipe will help you transition away from cereal, without giving up the convenience!


Seed Porridge 

(makes 8 ready made breakfasts)!

What you will need:
1 cup hemp seeds
1 cup ground flax seeds
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup ground chia seeds
1 cup finely shredded coconut

How to do it:
Step 1: Mix everything evenly in a bowl.
Step 2: Transfer to 1 quart mason jar
Step 3: Store in the refrigerator.

What you will need to prepare a single serving:
erythritol ('brown sugar' swerve tastes great in this one)
coconut oil or MCT oil
coconut milk

To prepare a serving:
Step 1: Boil water
Step 2: Mix 1/4 cup cereal with equal parts hot water.
Step 3: Stir in 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp coconut oil or MCT oil.
Step 3: Top with 1/2 cup coconut milk and 1 tsp 'brown sugar' swerve (or plain erythritol)

So delicious and comforting!
