Natural Weight Loss without Dieting

If you want to lose weight without diet"ing", you're in the right place.

A natural healthy weight does not require calorie counting, deprivation or excessive exercise. 

The reason counting calories only works to a point, is because the calorie theory of weight loss is theoretical. There is no organ in your body that "counts" calories - and then assigns the leftover energy you don't need as fat.

Whether what you eat is stored as fat or not is instructed by hormones.

The quality of the food you eat and the impact that food has on your hormones, is what determines whether your body stores fat or not.

  1. After some initial weight loss with a calorie deficit, you can under eat calories for months and still not lose a pound and even gain fat, because nutritional deficiency tells your primal brain "there is a famine out there", time to increase fat storage to get ready for hibernation.

  2. You can gain weight without eating a single extra calorie, because stress causes your body to spill glycogen (the reserve sugar that is stored in your liver) into your blood stream, thus triggering insulin - the fat storage hormone.

  3. Excessive exercise also backfires and stalls weight loss (or worse, breaks down muscle mass and even cause weight gain) because a body low on fuel, but moving more triggers excessive cortisol which breaks down muscle.
