Everything you need to know to lose weight naturally, sustainably, pleasurably & permanently.
In other words, you'll learn exactly what to do to lose the weight and keep it off forever - without counting calories, carbs, protein or fat grams.
Exercise it optional!
The Delish Diet is not a method, it is a proven physiological approach with a strong philosophical edge.
The Delish Diet is NOT about
perpetuating weight loss obsession.
It is about understanding how your body works and consciously listening to it. Like it or not, your extra body fat has a message for you.
Weight gain is a symptom of a health imbalance.
When you bring your body back into a state of balance and harmony - a shit ton of other symptoms that are currently bothering you – simply just fall away – even if you’ve decided to do this program for purely superficial reasons!
When we use food as medicine – we get good side effects – instead of bad ones!
It Begins With Body Love
If You Want Forever Results You Need A Forever Approach
The truth is - the commercial diet industry set you up for failure from the start.
Far too many of the recommendations you are getting from the diet gurus, are not by design to be used as long term strategies - which is why they don’t work long term!
The Delish Diet approach is the anti thesis to all that.
It is designed for the long term, designed to be sustainable and yield permanent results.
If you are ready to get off the diet cycle & instead adopt a way of life that allows you to lose weight as a natural good side effect of becoming the healthiest version of yourself possible, then you are in the right place.
The Delish Diet is Not Really A Diet (I just have to call it that to get your attention)!
I wanted to call my approach Delish Diaita to reflect that what we are doing here is returning to the natural lifestyle underlies optimal health and subsequently our divine right body shape.
The word diet originates with the Greek word diaita - a noun that meant a way of living, which included food and other daily habits. The origin of the word has nothing to do with weight loss.
The Delish Diet is a 'diaita' not a diet, but alas, I have to call it a diet so that the people who need it the most can find it.
Fat Acceptance is The First Step But Far From the Last
When I say fat acceptance, I don't mean put your head in the sand and pretend you are healthy and in shape when you are not. I mean accept yourself as you are now, stop shaming yourself and flaunt what you've got!
At the same time, you have to realize that extra body weight is not just an aesthetic concern (attractiveness comes in all shapes and sizes)- it is a health concern. Your body only adds extra fat when it HAS to - to respond to stress in it's myriads of forms (not to punish you or keep you from enjoying delicious food)!
You must stop obsessing about your weight and the scale right now and put your health first..
Accept your body the way it is and at the same time take steps to heal your body. The Delish Diet shows you exactly how to do that, while your body prioritizes the speed of your healing and the accompanying weight loss that follows.
Fit and Healthy Are Not Synonymous
Just because you are fit, doesn't mean you are healthy. There is nothing wrong with exercise, but it can't make up for a poor diet health wise.
Yes, fitness has health benefits and is for sure necessary if you want a firm, strong and toned body - but it is not a licence to binge on junk food without consequence.
You can look slim and toned on the outside and still feel terrible on the inside because of un healthy habits and poor food choices.
Losing Weight Doesn't Make You Healthy
You don't lose weight to get healthy. If that were 'a thing' then every skinny person you know would also have perfect health, but that just ain't the case.
You have to get healthy if you want your weight to become a non issue.
If you are overweight, that is a sign of a health imbalance - namely chronic stress, blood sugar imbalance, digestive issues, inflammation, toxicity and hormone imbalance.
If you don't deal with that 'stuff' you body will want to be fat - and it will win.
You Have a Divine Right Shape
In today's world we normalize pathology. Because we see so much of it, we think it is normal. Common yes, natural no.
Due to health imbalances, nutrient deficiencies and the stress that leads to muscle wasting, far too many people's bodies take on unusual shapes such as: hard swollen bellies with deteriorating legs and buttocks, women lose their curves and become 'boxy', while men lose their masculine angles and become round with beer belly's and boobs.
When your body shape starts changing like this it means something. It is not to be ignored.
Sure, you can succumb and settle for it, like most of society does or you can take responsibility for your health and reclaim the divine right blueprint of how your body was originally designed.
Willpower Doesn't Work. Never Has. Never Will.
You know intellectually that fad diets, counting calories & practically living at the gym are not sustainable for permanent weight loss - yet you've been blaming yourself for not having enough willpower.
Even though your experience proves that willpower doesn't work, you keep dieting because you don’t know what else to do,
The Delish Diet will change your perspective from the inside out so that you don't need to summon the temporary and unreliable forces of willpower!
You don't need to exercise to lose weight.
Yip, that is right. When it comes to losing weight, exercise is optional.
What you eat is WAY more important.
In fact for some people it's actually the stress of the excessive exercise they do that is primarily keeping them from being able to lose weight.
You might just need to eat more and move less.
It is not 'hate', to talk about weight.
Society has wrongfully shamed overweight people as being lazy and undisciplined when nothing could be further from the truth,
For decades dieters have been getting the wrong advice - statistics prove it with 97% of dieters failing.
it is no wonder that people have given up and joined the fat acceptance movement.
And now the tables have turned…. it's becoming socially unacceptable to talk about wanting to lose weight and the fat acceptance movement has turned to the other extreme by shunning weight loss.
There is no shame in being overweight or in wanting to lose weight.
Shame is a very heavy form of emotional weight that we can all do without.
You Lose Weight for Yourself and For Your Reasons
The decision to lose weight must be for you, not for your partner. If your partner is shaming you about your weight, you need to call in question the depth and level of respect that is present in your relationship and seek outside help..…don't settle for that kind of treatment, that is emotional abuse.
Ideally, it would be great if we all came to the table to lose weight with health front and central to our minds - but heh, if you just want to lose weight for vanity purposes, that's cool too - with the Delish Diet, you'll get healthier without even trying to!
There is a whole bunch of non-sense crap you are believing right now that IS stopping you from seeing the truth about what is takes to lose weight.
It is time to de-program yourself from 'half truths' at best like...
- eat less, move more
- calories in = calories out
- fat makes you fat
- exercise is the answer
If you still believe this stuff, you need to get your fat ass in my class already (tee hee)!
