Sugar Free Coconut Chocolate Bars
This recipe was inspired by the desire to create more affordable homemade chocolate bars since cocoa butter has become very pricey these days. Not to mention, we need more alternatives to commercial sugar free chocolate bars that are made with modified milk ingredients, isomalt, dextrin and maltitol which can cause gas and bloating.
What you will need:
¼ cup plant based milk alternative
⅓ cup coconut oil
1 box creamed coconut
2 Tbsp to ¼ cup powdered erythritol
⅛ tsp unrefined salt
How to do it:
Step 1: Put everything in a small saucepan and heat on medium heat until completely melted.
Step 2: Put parchment paper on a baking tray or generously grease a chocolate bar mold.
Step 3: Spoon batter into your chocolate bar mold, spreading with the backside of the spoon (or spread on baking tray with a spatula).
Step 4: Refrigerate until firm.
Step 5: Chop with a sharp knife into bars (if you didn’t use a chocolate bar mold).
Step 6: Store in the fridge.
