FAQ's

1. Isn't this dangerous? Theoretically, a stone could get lodged in the bile or pancreatic duct, which could lead to pain and/or emergency gallbladder surgery. To my knowledge, this has never actually happened to anyone with this level of intentional flushing because of the malic acid that is taken to dissolve and shrink the stones. The malic acid makes them soft, pliable and 'squishy'.  I suggest that if you are concerned, you should do sufficient preliminary research regarding flushing, to allay any fears you have about it BEFORE doing the flush. You can do that by reading this book on amazon https://amzn.to/4aDCPmy

2. What is malic acid? Malic acid is a natural food chemical found in apricots, blackberries, apples, apple cider vinegar, cranberry, tart cherries, grapes, peaches, pears and plums and other fruits to a lesser degree.

3. How is your approach different than Andreas Morwitz? My approach does not use apple juice which has way too much fruit sugar in it for people with health imbalances and liver issues. I have simplified the process into step-by-step fashion and improved upon it.

4. Does it hurt? No. it doesn't hurt, most people feel nothing at all other than subtle energy shifts in the general area of where the gallbladder sits, for approximately 20 min (after that you go to sleep for the night).

5. How do the stones get out once they are passed out of the bile duct? They come out through the stool in the morning.

6. What supplies will I need? Essentials are olive oil, citrus fruit, apple cider vinegar and/or malic acid, epsom salts and magnesium citrate. You may also want to purchase a plastic sieve if you want to catch the stones to see what came out (see your results). It is also recommended to buy an enema kit to use on the flush evening (essential if you tend toward constipation). It is also recommended to do an enema for a few days after to ensure that no stones get stuck in the colon folds. There are additional recommended herbs and supplements, but those are optional for those who want to take extra dissolving substances. I provide you with the link to all products, so that you can order them from Amazon if you can't find them in your area. In case of allergies, there is an alternative for each ingredient.

7. Can I learn how to do this by myself without having to join the group? Yes, absolutely, you can purchase my step-by-step instructional e-book or read this book on Amazon (I suggest you buy both to boost your confidence).

8. Who should NOT do the flush?

DO NOT DO THE FLUSH IF:

  • you are allergic or intolerant to an ingredient - specifically malic acid (there are many options included in this protocol, so there is likely something you can use to shrink the stones, even if you can’t do the flush).
  • prescription medication - address the root causes of your health issue and then work with your doctor to see if you can wean yourself off, first because some people on medication have done it, not released stones and felt sick during and after the flush (except thyroid meds, see note below).
  • chemotherapy - wait 6-8 months after chemotherapy (according to Morowitz, doing a flush too soon after releases too much unbound poison that can burn the intestinal tract)
  • bowel obstruction
  • you are weak, emaciated, underweight
  • inflammatory bowel disease
  • large hemorrhoids
  • acute infection
  • severe or regularly occurring constipation (do a colon cleanse before gallbladder flush)
  • pregnancy or nursing
  • during menstruation
  • stent in the biliary duct
  • uncontrolled diabetes (get your blood sugar in balance before starting as you will need to fast for a portion of the flush day).
  • kidney disease

If the flush is wrong for your situation or diagnosed disease, there are alternative ways to support liver and gallbladder health (I am currently working on these additional protocols, but you can pre-order them now):

Advanced Protocol - https://www.delishdiet.ca/products/207406-Advanced-Gallbladder-Protocol

9. Can I get a private session? If you want to discuss your unique situation, you can book a private session here: https://www.delishdiet.ca/products/187789-Holistic-Nutrition-Consulting-Intake

10. What if I have already had my gallbladder removed? Yes, you can use this same method to do a liver flush to remove liver stones. Stones in the liver make it difficult for the liver to remove toxins and waste products.
